Are you Interested in being a leader in your community, and protecting the Environment?
Division Midway Alliance is looking to select 5 different students who are from the Latino/Hispanic, Somali, Tongan, Burmese, Bhutanese and Asian-Pacific Islanders communities to be Mentors.
The goal for this program is to train the Youth mentors on various topics surrounding Environmental Education and conservation, once they have completed their training they will need to recruit a group of students whom they themselves will train them on the same information. Another component of the program is that the Mentors will be organizing a Clean Up Day in which they will also reach out to other community members and Businesses in the area. The Youth mentors will be receiving a stipend upon successful participation and completion in the program.
